DELIVERY AND PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

 

DELIVERY:

 

Dispatches are generally made 2 working days at the most after receipt of payment and are sent by Colissimo with follow-up but without acknowledgement of delivery (therefore in the majority of cases, your order is delivered to you 4 to 5 working days in metropolitan France, in EU and 3 to 4 weeks in the world, after receipt of payment).

If you wish to make a gift and have it sent directly to an address different from your own, you can do so by following the instructions under the “My account” heading.

As soon as dispatch has been made, schedules announced are indicative and may vary slightly depending on our carrier’s work-load. Niwaki et Niwashi.com accepts no liability in the event of any delay.

If you would like to know the transport costs for the articles that interest you, all you have to do is create an account and simulate a purchase. Just before payment, you will be sent a detailed summary of the total costs. (except for tripods ladders - you should consult us before because the cost varies according your location and carrier estimation).

Transport costs include participation in preparation and packaging costs as well as postage costs. They are made up of a fixed sum and an amount that varies depending on the weight of the products ordered. Remember to put all your articles together in a single order. We cannot combine two separate orders and you will be invoiced for transport costs for each of them.

Maximum care is taken for protecting the articles you have selected. Boxes are oversized and articles protected by thick layers of expanded polystyrene 100% recycled. All our packages are made using recycled or recyclable cardboard boxes and wherever technically possible we use renewable filling materials.

We deliver to metropolitan France, the French Overseas “Départements” and Territories, in Europe and throughout the world. We do not make tax-free sales and do not deliver to “poste restante” addresses. Carriage paid for orders of over 300 €, £ or $ only.

 

SATISFIED OR REIMBURSED: We service your orders with one main objective: to give you satisfaction. On niwaki-et-niwashi.com, as required by law, the purchaser has forteen working days after the date of delivery of his order (Colissimo follow-up accepted as valid) for returning the products for exchange or reimbursement, without any justification and without any penalties. Any product return, no matter whether it takes place in the form of an amicable solution for a complaint or on any other grounds must be subject to formal agreement between the purchaser and the seller. If the product has been checked and signed for and if it fulfils the conditions required (product complete, packaged in perfect condition for resale) reimbursement will be made by means of a credit note valid for a future order, as soon as the product has been received. Return carriage costs are at the purchaser’s expense. Articles must be returned in their original packaging without having been used, to: EURL NIWAKI & Co – 600 route de Balais - 07340 TALENCIEUX - FRANCE. Articles returned incomplete or damaged by the customer will not be accepted. C.O.D. returns will not be accepted on any grounds whatsoever. At the end of the 14 day period, articles delivered are deemed to comply with the order and to have been accepted by the purchaser.

 

PRODUCT RETURN POLICY:

 

If you receive an article that has been damaged in transport, and this up to thirty days after delivery of your order, you may either have the article replaced or be reimbursed for it.

Should reimbursement be requested, we will reimburse the full invoiced price of the article or articles.

In both cases, our services will check the product, which must have been returned to us within 30 days of delivery, in compliance with product return conditions.

In concrete terms, if the package is placed in your letter box, without any signature and in your absence (La Poste/Colissimo) and if you discover any damage, you must go to your local post office and request a certificate of damaged goods from them. If this certificate is not requested on the day of delivery, the postal services will refuse to issue it and we will not be able to meet any request for compensation.

 

Similarly for an item received by haulage. If you see any damage, you must notify immediately to the shipper. If this is not done the same day of delivery on the document that you will sign, we can not access any claim.

 

If you receive an article that is not conform to your order, and this up to thirty days after your order has been delivered, you may either have the article replaced or be reimbursed for it.

In both cases, our services will check the product, which must have been returned to us within 30 days of delivery in compliance with product return conditions.

Please note that we do not accept C.O.D. returns under any circumstances whatsoever. We request you to pay for the costs of returning your package (under standard delivery conditions) and indicate the cost to us.

Besides having the possibility of benefitting from the 30-day period in compliance with our Product return policy, you also have the 7-day withdrawal period provided for by law.

Note that if the damaged or non-conform product is not returned to us within 30 days of delivery, our commitment in this respect will become null and void.

 

Note : If any element in a box is missing or non-conform, we request you to return the whole box to us. A box constitutes a single inseparable article. Therefore, we cannot make an exchange or reimburse the sole missing or non-conform article, even if it is available individually on our site.
